21 days visiting 8 cities of 5 European countries is not long enough to feel the pulse of every land we came by, but it’s enough for us to be overwhelmed by a Europe of romance, magnificence, sophistication, and civilisation. It was 21 days of walking in the clouds, of seeing scenes that I’ve only seen in postcards, of living in the atmospheres that I could only find in cinematic footages.

Sometimes I felt that my Canon 30D was useless, and if only I could capture what I’ve seen with my naked eyes and share them with you. Therefore, in the coming entries, there will be a large number of photographs about one city, and there might be only few for the others. It’s not because they are less charming. Blame it for my inability with the camera.

The ‘Europe touch’ series will start with our first destination, Amsterdam. The city of canals, bicycles and, of course, red light district.

The easiest way to move around the city centre is by riding a bike
